Let me rephrase that. on a personal level 08 was a great year. On a business level, like most other small businesses, we could have had a better year. Don't get me wrong we have not had a bad year, it's just that our growth was less than anticipated. Maybe that's a good thing! In my opinion to much growth to fast can be detremental to the quality of service that a small business can give. Allowing the employees to learn your ideal ways of providing great customer service while you are not "to busy" will allow your key employees to pass it along to the new guy. Everyone comes into a job with their own preconceived ideas, you know the saying "old dogs new tricks", but my business is where it is because of my ethics so I am counting the slower growth as a blessing!
