It is important for us as a service provider to use the best methods possible to apply our products. There are many different application techniques but the most common are brushing, rolling or airless spraying. we have to decide with each project which is the best system to use to provide the best finished product for the customer at the least cost. It is a huge misconception of many people that spraying will not produce a proper finish. This simply is not true. Spraying is just a faster way to apply the product to the surface. As long as you are using the proper millage (thickness) the paint will do its job. Spraying is not always the most efficient though, it requires a lot more protection of surrounding surfaces. So it is usually only utilized for covering large areas. Experienced painters will know when and where to use the proper application techniques. In these times many people are concerned about costs and any time we can improve production to save the customer money we will. This is still another reason why it is to your advantage to hire professional painting contractors. For more information on application techniques visit The Paint Quality Institute on line.
