▣ a positive experienceposted by aaron on July 2nd, 2008 at 4:38 AM (MST) 2 Comments added to this post
Without customers we do not have a business. When a project is started I am excited, knowing that we are going to do an extremely profesional job and turn out a finished product to be raved about. But often that is cut short when imediately a customer becomes confrontational. Second guessing every move we make and basically wanting to micro manage the project. It's as if they are expecting us to rip them off and some seem disapointed when they finally realize that we are professinals and we intend to give them nothing but the best job possible. No offence, but they really don't know us from Adam, and have probably had some bad experiences with other less professional contractors. In my humble opinion I believe that if I were going to hire a professional to do a project for me, that would mean that I trust them, or I would not have hired them in the first place. I look at what we do as painting contractors as turning negative living areas in to a posative space. Making something ugly beautiful. This should be a pleasant and positive experience for everyone involved. We should always leave each other with a smile, a hand shake, and a good feeling inside.
